Jerusalem Mill Village is located at the intersection of Jerusalem and Jericho Roads in Harford County, Maryland, amid the pristine scenery of the Gunpowder Falls State Park. Throughout the year, the village is the site of an amazing range of events and activities that bring history to life.

Directions

Jerusalem Mill Village operates year round on the following schedule. We are closed some holidays.

Museum and Visitor Center:
Saturdays 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Sundays 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Free admission.

Group Tours

Jerusalem Mill Village is available for group tours, school groupd field trips and Scou ttroops. Groups should contact us for scheduling and admissions fees.

Check the Calendar of Events for details about historic encampments and battle enactments, the annual concert series, and other activities.

Please note that admission fees apply during special events. Admission fees directly support FOJM programs, preservation, and restoration initiatives. Portions of the village may be closed for general use during special events. The presence of pets is restricted during special events.

Other Activities at Jerusalem Mill Village

Besides the activities in the historic area there are many other things to do at Jerusalem Mill Village. Picnic in "The Meadow" or fish for trout in the Little Gunpowder River. Hike or horseback ride the miles of trails or enjoy a leisurely stroll around the hay field. (Note: fishing requires a Maryland State fishing license)

While you're enjoying the beauty of the village and surrounding park be sure to keep an eye out for the abundant wildlife around the fields and in the woods. You may see deer, a fox, a heron, a hawk or one of the many smaller inhabitants.

There is also a great variety of plant life from wild flowers to mature trees.

Remember... Jerusalem Mill Village and Gunpowder State Park are trash free zones. If you bring it in, please take it out.

(Note: Pets on a leash are generally allowed. Please as a courtesy to others clean up after your
pets! Pet attendance may be restricted during special events.)
