Besides the activities in the historic area there are many other things to do at Jerusalem Mill Village. Picnic in "The Meadow" or fish for trout in the Little Gunpowder River. Hike or horseback ride the miles of trails or enjoy a leisurely stroll around the hay field.
While you're enjoying the beauty of the village and surrounding park be sure to keep an eye out for the abundant wildlife around the fields and in the woods. You may see deer, a fox, a heron, a hawk or one of the many smaller inhabitants.
There is also a great variety of plant life from wild flowers to the huge old poplar tree.
Remember... Jerusalem Mill Village and Gunpowder State Park are trash free zones. If you bring it in... please take it out.
